Big Red Welcome 2010
Big Red Welcome is a huge, annual event spanning August 20, 21, and 22. From free food to free movies, Big Red Welcome is the place to be the first weekend of the semester. Find out more about Big Red Welcome and have some fun!
East Campus Welcome Back
At the beginning of each academic year, students participate in the East Campus Welcome Back event. This event includes an East Campus Club Fair and a Welcome Back Picnic. Recognized Student Organizations set up booths to provide information regarding their organization as well as provide give-a-ways. A picnic style dinner is provided to all students that attend. Check it out Thursday, August 26, 2010 from 4 to 7 p.m. on the north side of the Nebraska East Union.
Husker Golf Scramble
Each fall, the Husker Golf Scramble is held at the Highlands Golf Course located in Lincoln. Students can create teams of four individuals to participate in the scramble. Registration costs $100 per team. At the end of the golf scramble, participants enjoy delicious food from Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers! Registration is due by September 4, 2010. 7th Annual Chili Competition
You can make chili and win or you can eat chili and win. Either way, you win. Register online for the 7th Annual Chili Competition! The competition will be held Friday, September 24, 2010 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Great Plains Room of the Nebraska East Union. Proceeds benefit Matt Talbot Kitchen and Outreach. RSO Fair
A Recognized Student Organization (RSO) is an official "club" at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. With more than 500 available, the best way to find an organization for you is to get out there and visit with members. The 2010 RSO Fair will be held October 12, 2010 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Nebraska Union Centennial Room. Find out more.
