At the beginning of each academic year, new and current students alike participate in the East Campus Welcome Back event. This event includes an East Campus Club Fair and a Welcome Back Picnic. Recognized Student Organizations set up booths to provide information regarding their organization as well as provide give-a-ways. This is a great opportunity for students to find ways to get involved and meet other students on East Campus. Also, a picnic style dinner is provided to all students that attend.

This year, the East Campus Welcome Back event will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2010 from 4 to 7 p.m. The event is located on the north side of the Nebraska East Union.
