14th Annual “Huskers Helping the Homeless” (Oct 16th)

• Serve your community by collecting money for the Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach. A few hours before kickoff, lend a hand by collecting donations around the campus and don’t worry you will be done before kickoff!

Afternoon Sunday Fun (Oct 17th)

• It is your fall break! Have the chance to experience fun activities around Lincoln and UNL campus. f!

Goodwill / Lighthouse

• Assist Goodwill Industries Monday morning as we tour the facilities and learn about adults with physical, mental and emotional disabilities. We will be serving Goodwill with cleanup around their main office. In the afternoon we will visit Lighthouse After-School Program, an academic support center for middle and high school students. At the Lighthouse we will be serving snack and dinner for the students.

Community Crops

• How many times do you have the chance to clear space in urban Lincoln to start a small farm? Community Crops works with people to grow healthy food and live sustainably. We will be assisting Community Crops at a local site in Lincoln
